Thank you Viji for this thread ! I personally feel although both are supposed to love and reciprocate the same but it is always mother's love which surpasses all. Mothers are God's gift to this world and their love can neither be explained or gauged. God has made them in such a way that inspite of all ill-treatments or misconduct inflicted on them by their children they can never turn away or stop loving them.Their love is the only love that remains constant in this world facing all bad weather conditions. Exceptions may be there but very few. I don't object or neglect the fact that dedicated and loving children may be in huge numbers but the love of mother towards her children and vice versa cannot be equated.Mothers are from heaven while the children belong to this world .
Dear Lollipop Thank you for your immediate reply. You have given the apt reply. I also agree that mother's love cant be expressed in words and nothing is equal to Mother's love. love viji
Vijima, Your question is like "Chicken - Egg" mystery. I won't support either Mother's love or the child's love. Others would explain you why mother's love is the best. So let me talk for child's love. It is as pure as Mom's love. A baby's first lesson in this world is feeling his mom's love. Is it not best??? Only child's love [a smile would do] enriches Mother's love.
Dear Latha, Mithy and Sudha Thanks for coming here and giving your opinion. Mithy welcome to my thread, glad to see you here love viji
Dear Viji, I feel there is a slight tinge of selfishness in both the mother's love and in children's love. I feel that no relationship in this world is truly selfless and this goes for mother child relationship also. Yes the love that Mother Teresa had is an perfect example of selfless love. so for me both love of mother and love of the child carries equal weightage.
For me it is the mother's love, because a mother’s love is whole no mather what how many times divided.
