    Thanks for your gesture.. as i already have mentioned i am too slow in reading tamil...and by the time i finished this poem it was 20minute...but wow...you have a good way with words...the translation is superb...
    it is a superb song...with lot of meaning...

    Thanks for your wishes.....it is overwhelming...
    Yeah sometimes when i sit and think back...all our experiences have all the trimmings of a good romance...We have learnt a lot of lessons the hard way...
    yes a love story that still continues....
    Today i have seen what money can get you and what money cannot get us..so have become kind of balanced....

    I have read this quote some time back......dont know the author.....
    No matter what you've done for yourself or for humanity, if you can't look back on having given love and attention to your own family, what have you really accomplished?

    Dear TDU,

    That was a very nice one.... Songs were Shanthi's fort... Especially Hindi songs.. She enjoyes the lines/verses very much.....I just skip the songs... There were times when I would have seen the movie lot of times but i could not recognise the songs...But I love thathuvam & philosophical songs...

    Never before have tears come into my eyes on reading a post and an FB ( by shanvy).... Gosh! you guys are special! You rightly belong to each other... after having gone through such trauma...
    Vysan, cherish her....she is a gem.... a rare find... In today's materialistic world, you shall not find the likes of her easily...

    Shanvy, you showed courage and belief and it paid! Hold on to your family proudly...you deserve kudos !

    I feel touched...moved... OH I don't how to put it! My verbosity is at a loss for words...

    I would propose a toast to you both.... "here's to Vysan and Shanvy... they walked uphill successfully.... May they watch the horizon from atop...hand in hand...for ever!

    Thanx a lot... Yes, She is GEM...Somehow, may be because of the testing times we never gave much of an importance to materialistic things....

    I agree with you, I could not have got a better half, who is so understanding, courageous, loving and caring....I can keep on adding.... No words is sufficient...Sometimes it may look like I am boasting ..... But it is the fact......

    I do not know how Imissed this thread.Not to say I was moved by what ved wrote but shan's reply was fantastic.I do admire you,shan for your courage and determination and your husband knows what a treasure you are.This thread will be a good insight to many .
