    We have tried to make the photo of the week contest little more interesting. This is to bring out your hidden talent in the art of photography.

    The contest for this week is…


    Showcase your bookshelf​



    Bookshelves will not only reflect one’s literary interest but also one’s skill in interior decoration and how organized they are! Showcase your creative skills while you capture your bookshelves.

    How do I participate in this contest?

    To participate in this contest, post the photo of your "own" bookshelf in your public album.
    Then provide the link in this thread to the bookshelf photo posted in your public album.

    Note:

    • An ILite cannot post not more than 3 entries.
    • Each entry should have only one picture.
    • No copy-pasting book-shelf pictures from other sources (like websites, books, magazines, emails etc.).
    • We need your "own" bookshelf picture.
    • If you like, write one or two lines about how you have organized your bookshelf.
    • This Contest ends on 11-Aug.

    Dear SmileAlways,

    Thank you for your appreciation and feedback.

    We have changed this week contest a little different to be more interesting and fun. We didn't want to make it too montonous with the old "caption contest" format. Moreover, we thought IL'ites will be happy to display their own pictures of interesting things too!

    Sure, we will come back time again with our old format of commenting/captioning when we find an interesting picture.

    So, go ahead and post your bookshelf picture for this week!

    We are sure most of you own a "Bookshelf". But why no showcasing of it here?

    We were expecting this contest to be flooded with Bookshelf pictures from each of you.

    What's stopping from doing it? Let us know if we can be of any help!

    Hi,

    I loved the idea of this thread very much. Being born and married in teacher's family you can understand my bonding with books. And i have a biiig collection already. But as we are staying in a rented flat here, no chance of proper book shelf here. Though we already have planned the interior design of a study with book shelves and reading table, chair etc. for our new home when we build it.
    For now we have kept all the books in computer table and bed top. Will this qualify? Can I put a pic of the books arranged there?

    I organize my books topic / category wise, easy for me to search any book fast.
    Bottom Row:Computer books and then all my diaries on various subjects then few novel and few other miscellaneous manuals.
    Second row - left: Religious Books on Jainism and few books on palmistry
    Second row - right : My Notes in computers,few beauty tip books, health remedies by nature.
