You can comment whenever you like. MCQ would be a nice idea but I think you should wait for some time and post mcq around the end of the month. Otherwise mcq's might act as spoilers for readers who have not yet reached as far in reading.

Finished the book. My DH had spoiled a bit of suspense for me:rant (I just asked him did he read this) But luckily he didnt spoil the twists and turns.

Aparna I think the answer will spoil the suspense because only one tamil movie is similar to this(As far as i know).

Spolier Alert! (Contains contents of the story)

    Here is the synopsis,

In this story the author is talking about 'MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER'. The protagonist Ashely Patterson has two alter personalities one is Toni Prescott and the other one is Alettle Peters.Toni is the dominant alter and she does all the murders. Finaly Ashley is taken into police custody and tried for murder. Her father Dr.Patterson appoinds David to handle her case. The government lawyer is Brennan. There are arguments and counter arguments and David is not able to provide the correct witness. Hence on the last day he along with Dr.Rayce Salem take a video recording of Ashley when she is under hypnosis. This film David shows it to judhe Williams and then she does not give death penalty to Ashely. Ashley is sent to Connecticut Psychiatric Hospital. Here Dr Craig and Dr.Gilbert Keller are to take care of Ashely. For 5 years Gilbert tries to talk with the alter and reasons out but Toni does not want to leave Ashely. Then Dr. Craig calls for her father Dr.Patterson and talks to him.In their conversation Dr.Patterson says that Ashley was molested by a relative. With this help Gilbert then talks to Toni and tells why she had killed all the people. But Toni insists that she does not tell the real nature of her temparament. One day Gilbert shows a news paper where the head lines are about Dr.Patterson.When Toni sees this her hatered towards Dr.Patterson erupts and then she confesses all what had happened to her.It is Ashleys father who had sex with her and abused her. It is Toni who takes the task of killing people who try to force Ashley into sex.Gilbert then brings all the newspapers that have headings related to Dr.Patterson.Slowly Toni's hatred subsides and her anger also comes down.Gilbert picks up her now and has a meeting arranged among Ashley, Toni and Alettle and finally convinces that it is time for Toni & Alettle to leave Ashley. The entire treatment is done under "hypnosis" and Ashley is freed from all her alters and she comes back to her normal self.

I think here the author Sidney Sheldon is talking about women/child abuse where the women are abused to such an extent that these abused victims take a garb of a personality to avenge their plight. The tile Tell me your dreams - does not involve actual dreams but a multiple personality disorder. The author also explains that this disorder can be cured.

Gayathri this is my review. will wait for others to pour their views.

    Happy reading
    nitya

Have you read the book already Nitya?

I would have hoped you had waited a bit longer to post the complete story of the book, some of us have just started to read the book - so a complete story in short right at the beginning might not be such a good idea.

Lets discuss the book as it progresses, not just the complete out-look of the book. I think it would be more fun that way.
