Generally, the 7th lord going to the house of dustanas, i.e. 6th, 8th or 12th is not good for happy married. There are quite number of people with this combination; but still they are leading a happy married life.

Also, any planet, very closer to Sun is not good; especially with a distance of 8 degree from Sun. Within this period,the planet will get combusted, with the result, they may not be able to perform their function.

Venus is the signficator of marriage for males; but in the case of girls, the signficator of marriage is Mars and Jupiter.

In the case of your friends, even though the 7th Lord Moon has gone to 6th house, he is being aspected by Jupiter, which is a relieving factor.
