Dear IL-ites, After a virtual shut-down of talks for months, India has resumed talks with Pakistan, but the results are for everybody to see! Is it right to talk to Pakistan when it refuses to take action on terrorists and even denies the role of Hafiz Saeed in 26/11 attacks? Regards, IndusLadies Team.
Dear All, It will be really stupid if India resumes talks with Pakistan. India may desire for peace with her neighbour, but Pakistan will always stab you in the back. Let us not forget the history of what happened with China. Late Jawahar Lal Nehru kept so much faith in believing them and they started war with us and gobbles our valuable lands.
Indo-Pak relations have been at an all time low since 26/11. Most of us would agree that talking to Pakistan is an utter waste of time since their sole purpose of existence is to create trouble in India. But sadly India does not have too many options. We are not a super power like the US and cannot go and attack our neighbour. This neighbour has nuclear weapons and has enough fanatics who would not hesitate in using them against India which would undoubtedly have grave consequences. India had the opportunity to solve the Kashmir issue during the earlier wars (1971). Now it is too late. :drowning
Talks with pakistan is not the solution and even it is not going to help us in any way. The need of the hour is to age war and to bring them under our control. Because they don't know value of human being and they are born human beings with animal heart. So still resuming talks with them will not going to change the situation. In today's newspaper the pakistan minister Qureshi told that 'coming to india for talks is meaningless'... so just think still we have to resume the talks or to wage war on them.. My personal concern is no more we should loose our fellow citizens in the name of terrorism.
Exactly! Only a 1971-esque action can provide a solution, if any! But with the US now deeply involved and the clowns in the parliament, I doubt that will happen. Pakistan will never stop supporting it's home-grown terrorism and Indian will never be capable of combating it's home grown terrorism.
It is never too late , Parvathi! Is it so difficult to protect Kashmir? It would not be for India definitely. When tiny counties can erase their home grown terrorism without leaving a trace of them , why not India? All it requires is a set of strong leaders sitting in parliment instead of bafoons who throw chair at each other. We need to take out all the corrupt leaders out there who help to grow terrorism for their own mottos for the betterment of India. BTW, did anybody see the videos?Look at the body lang of our foreign minister and Querishi. It was very evident that Krishna was not comfortable and not confident. We need strong leaders.
That is the whole problem Bhuv. As long we still practice monarchy in the name of democracy (trying to promote off springs into politics) and have dummy prime ministers (like Bharath pseudo ruled for Rama), we can do nothing :rant:rant:rant
I don't even want to start on that thing..:rant:rant:rant.Some guys divide our country among themselves..Ex:In our state Madurai for you,Chennai for me....... If we have to protect Kashmir, We need strong/corrupt free leadership at the center and the state of J&K. No vazha vazha kozha kozha (confusing talks) with Pakistan. Be clear on our stand and stick to it. No peace talks with Pakistan till they act on "not" supporting the terrorists. Clear out the rebels on spot. Firm the border. As a fellow citizen, I can think only of the above points as of now.
No , it is not justifiable. Going by the past records and considering the current scenario, India has showed a soft stand with issues over Pakistan. It is the time the current UPA government act tough and stop the polite petite way of negotiating. It is clear that Pakistan is encouraging the terrorists activitives across the border, why push them or beg them for a dialogue? I think the Indian government is making a fool of it self and its citizens.
I think Congress lost its ability to make firm decisions when Indira Gandhi died! And then there's this problems of all the allies which make the UPA anything but progressive :rant:rant Any decision made will be equated to minority persecution, someone will try to pull out support, there will be horse-trading and end of story! I had some hopes that if NDA comes back with some strong allies, they might do something. But since the last few years, with the way Advani has been making a clown of himself, hope's lost on that front too!!!
