    Hi friends,

I am Seema, residing in Thane Dist, near Mumbai (India).
I am working with my hubby (own business), but at present taking rest as enjoying my 2nd Pregnency - 37th weeks (my EDD is 20th July, 2010)....just counting the days.

Want to share my concern wid you all, as m tensed at present. My latest ultrasound report mentions "NUCHAL CORD" condition. The baby is in Vertex position (head down), but the doctor doing the sonography said that everything is normal - however, nuchal cord will result into CEASEREAN delivery. (which i don't want)

Whereas, my gynac said theres nothing to worry...this is a normal condition and vaginal delivery is very much possible with nuchal cord.
My 1st delivery was a normal delivery.

I also read on some sites that nuchal cord condition may cause distress to the baby, which may be very harmful.

Pls let me know, some more info on the same.

    Thanks and regards,
    Seema

    hi dear

recently my sister delivered (3rd june) with nuchal cord in baby's neck... very much normal delivery and both are fine.

never get tension about this issue. your doc knows better and when she says no prrobs THEN SURELY NO PROBS.
POST BABYS PHOTO SOON TO US
    regards
