On June 25, last year, tragedy struck. The world lost one of its greatest entertainers - Michael Jackson. Fans all over the world were devastated by this great loss. We know that some people took advantage of him. This didn't stop, even after his death he continued to make news for the wrong reasons - things that did not make him the phenomenon that he was. As we approach the first anniversary of his death we hope he gets the respect and honour he deserved.

First Snap : 1970s Boy wonder As a 10-year-old, Michael Jackson showed great spunk as a performer. His high-pitched voice was integral to the success of the Jackson Five

Second Snap : 1984 The sequined one After leaving his family band, Michael rose to the highest point in his career with Thriller

Third Snap :1988 Consumate performer On stage, Michael was always electrifying. The singer said he was happiest when he was performing because it provided an escape from his otherwise tortured life

Fourth Snap : 1993 Dancing king His dance style was inimitable. Thousands tried to imitate him, but none could master his dance moves

Fifth Snap : 1996 Musically connected He always formed strong bonds with his musicians

Sixth Snap : 2000 The showman Michael's antics on stage will remain etched in people's minds forever

Seventh Snap : 2000 Hats off! Michael was not only an innovator as far as his music and dance were concerned, but also in his dress sense. The military jackets, the fedora and the aviators...

Eighth Snap : 2009 In pursuit of happiness Michael wanted to be happy and bring joy to other people's lives
Nineth Snap : 2009 June 25 was his last day as he died at the age of 50

Thank you so much Jaya !

I love MJ so much.. my 1st intro of english music was Billie jean.
    Awesome collection of music.
when they say "This is it" , it really means for him. He is the only true legend i should say.

if you listen to "I'll be there" , you'll really cry .. its such a passionate one.

Indeed that's a great tribute to MJ.
I like almost all his albums.
MJ pops that I like are Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Dangerous, Billie Jean (the best moonwalk) and of course many more.

I cant believe its already one year so soon . Both my husband and me love MJ music. My favourite is 'Billie Jean' and 'They Just Dont Care About Us.'

We watched "This Is It" telecast on TV for his death anniversary.

MJ was absolutely the greatest showperson ever!!!! more than a singer he was a performer... whatever controversies he might have been a part of... but NO ONE can dispute the fact that he was great and a gifted musician, singer, dancer and performer ... MJ RIP
