Dear All Hope someone could help me out. I came to india just 2weeks back and my LO is settling down.I went to pediatrician and he adviced me to feed the baby 6 times a day till 10p.m and feed him water from 10p.m to 5a.m in the morning. I dont understand the reason and will it be fine for the baby and how i need train my baby to get used to such change. please advice me
what nonsense!no milk at all at night?and ur baby is just 2 months old? i remember feeding my baby every 2 hours even at night,to my baby, on demand.pls change ur pediatrician
Agree with Poonam. No milk for a 2mo old baby? Nonsense. Please feed on demand. Don't stick to clock or advice. Was there any reason why your paed said this?
This is 200% absurd, pls change your paed. These days, there are paeds who advice such rubbish and dont go by their words. Search Bangalore forum for info on good paeds there. Baby needs ONLY milk, mother's or formula, till its 6months of age. Agree with others here. Mother's milk is the essential need for the baby till 1 year and atleast until 6 months. Water is not needed at all if the baby is BFed. Please check out for a good paed.
Amul, I strongly advise u to consult some other Pediatrician...dont ever listen to such talk of givin ur LO water alone during nite hours....That sounds really stupid...what kind of pediatrician is he/she Make sure u give only BM or formula till 6 months...
What nonsense is your Paed talking? Is he/she crazy or what?? your baby needs to be fed on demand. Don't look at the clock for feedings.. And at 2 months no water at all..Infact no water until you start solid food... Change your Paed immediately..
Hi All My sincere thanks to each and everyone for taking your precious time in replying me. Yes, I decided to change my pediatrician an in search of him. I stay in hyderabad not in blore so already posted new thread for good pedeac suggestion. once again thank you all me frnds
