    Dear Mindi,

I came back to IL after long leave to read your hilarious post .

Ha ha ha:rotfl you made me feel like peeping into your room:hide:
But i appreciate you as you are able to sleep anyway after some time

few days back, i was very much worried as he started snoaring (just 2 days after our marriage). I felt like i will lose my sleep forever in my life.
I could not control, so i woke him up and asked "Is snoaring a genetic disease?"(My FIL snoars)

Poor creature! he blinked like a child and looked at me innocently. Thats it . I made up mind thereafter not to wake him up but i would sleep before
    he does.

But Thank God, That snoaring was only because of the tiresome marriage rituals.
Now I am relieved to a greater extent:)

very good write up as usual :cheers

    Mindi,

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post. Very funny...

I will have a good sleep only when there are no lights, the entire room is dark and no sound at all (fan or a/c is ok) like dogs barking, someone hearing fm songs etc., For few months, my husband had this snoring habit and I was not able to sleep at all..Good that it is not there now, otherwise i would have ran away :rotfl

I can imagine what you are going through.well, the gud news is that there is treatment for snoring:thumbsup.please consult a physician.anyways your situation is far better than mine.my hubby wakes me up in the middle of night and he talks to me about a whole lot of things.this happens several times at nite.in the morning i ask him with my sleepy sound that why did you want to talk about all not so important things at nite disturbing my sleep when the whole morning next day is waiting for us.you want to hear his reply?did i talk to you at nite?oh,i dont remember talking to you:spin.yes dear,he talks while he sleeps:rant and this happens almost every day:bonk.

    Hey Mindi.
I just couldnt control my laugh:biglaugh when i was reading your post.
    HILARIOUS MAN!!!:biglaugh:biglaugh
The reason behind is, the same happens to me.
My hubby used to snore like anything as if in mid of the night, i would get scared not able to realise where am i !!!

As anuram said, i use to tap him or hug him gently which would switch off the motor (So Sorry Mr.Mahisree :-D), but temporarily.
So, atleast for an hour, i would keep on doing something that would control his snore.
But due to tiredness of trying a lot on it, i would sleep.

Even i gifted(?!!) him the nose strips twice which i saw in ad for controlling snoring..But all in vain:drowning

To confess, he would sometimes wakeup and ask me to sleep first by holding my hand. Meanwhile, he would pass time with his laptop. Once he finds me sleeping, then he would sleep & start his SNORE.
    (Cho.. nice of u honey:))

Mindi, no remedies i could find...
ILitians, we shall open a seperate community for ladies like us:)
    Nice post...Nicely narrated.

(Those who 've succeeded in controlling their hubby's snoring problem, plz drop a reply to this forum)
