dear friends, thanks for ur kind replies.also pls inform me that being a muslim country is there any restrictions on women, like r we allowed to wear western clothes ,keep our faces uncovered etc.can a women also work if she wants to. hope to hear soon from u all.thanks again
Dear Mahajanpragati, You can wear western clothes. Face need not be covered (unlike Saudi where you have to wear the abhaya). Lifestyle is generally free. However, very short and revealing clothes are not generally worn. With a valid work permit, there is no restriction for women to work. A woman can go "malling" on her own, drive a car, eat at restaurants.. Regards USHA
Hi pragathi, Dubai welcomes people of any culture, any religion, any race,... U can find indians in large numbers here , also filipinos, africans and europeans... Since everyone is allowed to follow their own dressing, sure there are beautiful filipinos with minis , etc,.. So dont worry , u will feel good here with all comfort levels that u expect... Ladies can work even under their residence visa, if the company can get u an employment visa then ,both the husband and wife can have their work permits and enjoy... If u have kids also no problem, there are good indian schools here... cheers,
thanks ladies for ur kind &prompt reply.when &where in dubai we come i will keep u informed.thanks a lot
