Dear Radhi, I suggest you buy magic bullet through
    ebay.in, by order.
No adaptor is necessary & you can straightaway use it.
The 21 pc set costs around 1500 Rs.
magic bullet, Home Appliances, Kitchen items at low prices on eBay India

Why go in for an adaptor, buying from there??
The brand you have quoted is unknown to me.
One thing we do not get here & which you can ask your BIL to get is
EnerG-egg replacer from health stores. Also he can get you instant dry yeast sachets, each weighing 7 gms, ideal for a single time use.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Thanks a lot mami. This is what I expected. I was so confused, now my mind is clear. Like you said, I will order through ebay and get done with it.

I am thinking of asking him for candy thermometer also . Got this while googled. Amazon.com: Taylor Classic Candy and Deep-Fry Analog Thermometer: Kitchen & Dining . It costs around $10 and looks similar to the photos in your SBS, so I think you also would have bought Taylor brand only. Mami, I think it is not available in India (or pl let me know if available here, then I need not tell him)

Also one more thing, since I dont have convection mode MW oven now, can I buy these items (Ener G and yeast ) now, though I am very much planning to buy the oven before year end. I am planning to give my MW +grill oven to my mother, when she comes to chennai , may be in another couple of months. How much time validity these products have? Will it come with expiry date of say 1 year or so ? So that I can keep it and use when I decide to buy the new oven

Sorry for bothering you with so much of questions. I am totally new to such items, even khoa as you know , I bought for the first time in life for making kulfi and yesterday's sweet nut khoa burfi .

Dear Radhi, do get candy thermometer from the US, Taylor is good. It is not available here.
EnerG has a shelf life of 1 year & I think you can refrigerate yeast sachets & use them. I think both can be refrigerated & used, if you plan to bake in the near future.
Do feel free to ask me all doubts! I will answer you, ofcourse, subject to my limitations!!
    love,
    Chithra

    hi madam,

reading radhikrish post on magic bullet i too have doubt.

I do not have food processor but i have philips full juicer set, hence was looking for FP. I narrowed down on philips brand only FP for 3500 at rathna stores planning to buy it this week.

now i saw the magic bullet link given for RS. 1500 with FP is it worth buying.
    please guide me
