    Hi every body.

Am back with confused mind:bowdown ... As per doctor's advise i have started oatmeal cereal for my 4 month old ( he has completed 4 mo and 2 weeks)... But she asked me to mix the cereal with baby juice.. Now is it advisable to do so? Is Organice Apple baby juice good to give him?

pavi, i do not recommend any sort of juice for such an itty bitty. at 8 months we still dont give DD any juice, the last time i remember giving her juice(diluted prune juice) at 6.5 months wen she was a bit constipated.
teh last thing u want for ur baby is to develop a sweet tooth.

mix baby's cereal with formula/expressed BM. or just plain water.

    Pavi,

You need not add anything to oats except cook it with water or milk. You can boil apples with a little water and blend it and give your baby during the day.
DD does not like anything mixed with oats.

    hi Cute pavi,
I couldn't help but laugh at your avatar...you sound confused as Lucy did..lolzzz(joking).

You can mix the cereals in milk, bacause at that age, babies can get introduced to some types of cereals. They stay full longer. Vegetable puree is also good. Unsweetened juices are ok too. Just try one thing at a tme and see how it goes.

    Hugs,
    OOPALL!

pavi at 4 months its best to mix baby cereal with breastmilk or formula milk, whatever LO is used to,
alternately u can do wat we did, we gave her purees ,and only purees till she turned 6 months...
    introduced cereals later.
