We see so many movies -

    Many entertain us ...

    Some irritat us ...

    a few bore us!

Only some change our views or outlook atleast to a small degree.

These films are few and rare too.

After watching Angaadi Theru-I have become more tolerant towards

those poor shop assistants and all such workers-Eg.waiters,cleaners

    and the like.

Kutti made me think twice about child labour and I influenced

my friend to stop using her maids daughter as a stand by servant.

Did you feel so after watching a film?????

    Hello Shaka aunty,

    Nice topic....

Yes though Angadi theru made a impact on me...I feel its overrated...
Do they treat the workers like slaves???Yes I agree on work basis they may but do they harass so much...Then what is the human rights department doing??????

Sometimes even I am fed up of these sales girls...

They try to act smart or most of the time romance by actions:biglaughwith the colleague..

Which is sometimes funny sometimes irritating...depends upon one's mood..

Yep,My views have changed after watching films like Vinnaithandi varuvaya,Kadhal that if you fall in love and ends in failure then anyhow you will get married to someone before the guy :biglaugh and your dh will be good too..hhahahaa:rotfl:biglaugh(Just for fun)

    Thanx for your vivid fb,Prettina.

The movie may have been a bit exaggerated, but I have really seen

cleaning boys being slapped in a restuarant for breaking a glass.

BTW,even the director of VTV would not have thought of such an

    impact on the fans mind!:biglaugh

After seeing Mahanadhi, I was really shaken up. I was scared to death about raising a kid in this big bad world.

After seeing Anjali, i was moved by the plight of parents with disabled kids.

    Thanx for the fb,Rosegirl.

Mahanadhi is one movie which potrayed jail life in its real grim colors.

Usually,Tamil movies show comedians and heroes frolicking and dancing in jails as if they are in a picnic:rant

Anjali shows a glorified special child like Shamli-In reality they are not so cute looking they drool, lack coordination and bowel/bladder controls and you wont find so many people flocking to pet and play with it .That is reality.

    Dear Shaka,

Mozhi it made me look at the differently abled people in a better light!
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham made me think about family togetherness and values!
Iam used to watching lot of old Tamil flicks few which touched my heart were- Sivagamiyin Selvan, Kaviyathalaivi! The first one on how the unwed mother, has to struggle to bring up her son having loss her love and dad in a short span , motherhood at its best! Made me realise that normalcies are a blessing in their truest form! ((Aaradhana in Hindi))!!

Kaviyathalaivi is enough to move me to tears when the man and woman he loves cannot get married they go their own ways and fate brings them back together where he becomes his ex-lady love's child godfather! Whatta tribute to friendship!
