Both mean the same. Karma accumulates when an ego performs any action as a doer with a desire for the results of that action. The same action performed without desire as a tool will not lead to karma. Arunadhri
I shall agree to Arunadhri sir, that your first post means the same. Moving to your next post, I guess by instant result you mean an unexpected return, now if this is positive, your karmic debt gets paid to the extent of return.. however if its a negative return then you're further into debt. According to me a soul gets into the cycle of rebirths until it has achieved sufficient karmic credits to attain moksha.... A strong/ unfulfilled desire at death is a karmic debt (karma is not just what you do physically but also mentally) and hence you re-enter the same birth cycle.
no i mean the return which you are expecting while doing the action or the desire for which u did the action.... If that is instantly gratified or fulfilled as soon as you finish the action , does it still lead to hanging/unbalanced karmic debt.( because you said unfulfilled desire only is karmic debt).
Dear SHilpa Sister, OM SAIRAM A very simple and informative information which i was just trying to browse thorugh. Thnaks a lot for sharing a vital info, please do enlighten us more on this theory when you find time in a separate Topic. Thanks once again KETAKI ji Thanks for opening this TOPIC, a long term doubt answered ..... Thanks JAI SAIRAM :Bow
A very good idea would be to study Bhagawan Ramana Maharshi's teachings. It is only He who has explained fate and freewill, karma and moksha completely. You may visit the Sri Ramana Ashramam website (The Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi website) and download many books dealing with Bhagawan Ramana's life and philosophy. Best Wishes Prad
Ketaki, direct effect ... the moment you get your desired result, its over hence no debt from that side. Indirect effect - what one desires maynot be desirable to the other person, so even if you got your desired result and it led to unhappiness to another person you get a few debits. Eg: A case of love marriage.. future inlaws totally against love marriage... -> If you dont get married your desire remains unfulfilled and the strength of desire might force you into rebirth... debt depends on your feelings. -> If you get married and endup with curses from someone.. they are again the debts to your fulfilled desire. Why do you think we ask for everyone's blessings and agreement of people involved in our lives.. so that there are lesser curses/ debits. Thanks Shakthi ji, I've shared a few learnings on following thread: Karmic Effects ??? Untimely death and its effects.
means karmic debts can also come even when there is not unfulfilled desire , as in the second case you said "indirect effect - so even if you got your desired result and it led to unhappiness to another person you get a few debits." Am i right.... Is this scriptures knowledge....
yes you've understood me right. I donno the exact scripture to point you to, but yes there are a few practical approach books on modern way of looking at it and yes personal experiences too.
