    Hi Hansika,

    I dont understand your question. we are using raw rice - we grind it and making vathal. If you read this thread from the first post you can understand. Or you are asking something different please explain. ok?:coffee for your reply. dont worry I can help you but the thing I want to know what you want .:)

    you were saying about rice flour. i meant raw rice which is soaked for two or three days it seems. and later ground hope this clarifies you.

    Hi krishnamma,

    I read your receipes of vadam and vathal.Its really great and wonderful!! I have a dobt in making tomato vadam.What is that u have mentioned tomato puree? Please let me know so that I can try this one at home.

    Hi Padmini,

    'Tomato Puree ' means Tomato Paste which you will get in small packs. or in small tins. you can use them easily like tomatoes. Where ever you use tomatoes you can use this puree or paste. we used to get them in all stores. In India also now we are getting them. I gave one photo of Tomato puree. please see the picture so that you can search for that. ok?
    they are pure and no preservatives are added in that. I hope this will help you. or otherwise please feel free to ask me.

    ya, you can cover. but it will take time to dry. but you can protect the 'vathal' from dust. ok?
