My DS wins an argument (as usual)

    It is Fieldtrip day at school. DS is very excited.
    I pack a disposable snack - a bunch of grapes and a bottle of juice.
    Then we walk through the usual DOs and DON'Ts - be with the group, be safe, eat your snack..

    DS interrupts.
    "Amma, if, I say IF, which means it probably will not happen - if I do not feel hungry or thirsty during the field trip, I will not eat the snacks, which will not be true because remember I said, IF? "

    Mommy goes, "My dear DS, if, which means it probably will not happen - if you do not eat the snacks, I will get really really mad, which is going to be true"

    My DS is least intimidated. shakehead

    He says, "Well then you better not blame me. I cannot inform hunger or thrist to be on time"

    Do they teach law at school?! :hide:

    Hello MST.....

    The whole episode started because it was not an eatable but only a disposable snack. Disposables are never to be eaten - your DS is smart. :thumbsup

    How can he eat the snacks that will not be true & truly made to be disposed by true?

    If he did eat the disposable, he will get mad & that will be true....
