Hi , I am looking for some guidance on how to do PF withdrawl from a closed company. I worked in that company 5 years back and resigned and moved out of India. By this time my earlier company had been desolved and was taken over by another group.. I know the PF no , please advise me how can I withdraw my PF and what is the procedure to be followed , whom should I contact (is it the PF office ?) and what are the forms to be filled. .Can this be done online as I am not in India now.. I am not able to find any contact details for the earlier company's HR..Please help.. Thanks in Advance..
As per my info, you can go to PF office and take the withdrawal form and give the details of your PF # and your bank account #. They would follow up with the company and would post the amount to your bank account. Also another way is, contact the new holder of your previous company, go to finance team and ask them for that form. Fill that form and give to the finance along with a experience letter of your previous company. they would take it forward from there. However you have to do a lot of followup to get things going.

PF Withdrawal forms can be obtained from finance department in your current company or also from the PF office (search for the office location on internet). I do not know whether the forms are available online might be our IL friends can help you!
Hi EMPLOYEES' PROVIDENT FUND ORGANISATION, Regional Office, Chennai Region & Puducherry All forms are available online Fill the forms,get employer signature or any other gazatted officer signature submit along with passbook photocopy bank a/c no in india.
You are welcome dear,Dont forget to use online claim status after submitting your pf claim form.Cheque amount & the date sent to bank is updated in website.Try continuosly this service though updation process takes little time.Its very usefull.
Dear, First you call the current employer and speak to someone in HR or Finance Department they will definetly help you. You can also check with them that you are currently out of India and what are the procedure to get the money back. or else directly call the PF office surely someone will help you.
