    Hi Ils,

Do you believe in ghosts ? Confused......what to answer.

    I haven't seen any but I don't want to say that I don't believe.

One night, my cousin who is an officer in Indian railway saw few people sitting on railway track, they were not sitting but dancing around fire. He wanted to check who were those persons and what were they doing on the track. As it was his responsibility to keep an eye over each and every happening he decided to go there and find out. In his words, initially all were looking very normal but when he wnt closer to them, their height started increasing. He was so scared that time he didn't even try to enquire and came back to his room. In the morning when he enquired about that incindent people say that particular point is a suicidal point and so many people died there. Since then my cousin started keeping Hanuman chalisa in his pocket.

I have no reason for not believing him.

    HI Vrindavipul
i believe strongly that devil exists, my uncle was working for night shifts and he used to return home around 2 a.m. he and his friends daily noticed a lady near a signal and she used to cry loudly it seems. one day they decided and stopped the cab and got down to enquire itseems, later she flew away and they have noticed she had no leg. later from next day onwards they used to see her but dared to look at her. what will you say about this...scary naa

Back in 1969 I used to live about three KM from my lab. Bangalore then was far less developed. The regular road was to circuitous. My work would go on late into the night. Quite often I would leave by 1 or 2 AM. My route was over a lake bund with a line of Peepul Trees. The villagers had told me that there were haunted by inimical ghosts and spirits, who would finish me off.

There were no lights whatsoever along the whole route. I have gone along that for two full years and never saw a thing. I am no way particularly brave. As a scientist I always subject things to investigation. I have been informally associated with various like minded people, who looked into paranormal claims. So far I have never found a single instance of any of these - Pyramid power, Kirlian aura photography, clairvoyance or ghosts - that stood the test of scientific enquiry.

    Hi Arunadhri,

I respect your opinion as it is right in its own sense. Sometime we start believeing in something just for people sake. But we can't argue with those people who actually saw these things. My mom used to see shadow of an old man in our house who used to roam everywhere with his stick. My mom is not a superstitious person rather she is verystrong and brave lady and doesn't even care for the useless superstitions spread in the society. But as far as that shadow was concerned she was quite sure about that. And my mom stopped complaining for the same when we shifted to another house. That time I was 10 or 12 years old and I couldn't react to that situation. Some things remain mystry......forver................my mother still can recall those days.

    Dear Vrinda,
    Right you are.
I never try to change anyone's belief. Each one to one's own. I just state my observations for consideration.

    Hi Vrinda,

Let me share with u what me n my family strongly believes...

God has created so many wonderful things around us...soo many different kind of living things...n the best form he created is Human beings n the same way he also created "Jinn" (most of them call it as Ghost because they r invisible only some humans will have dat frm God to see them or communicate with them)...and like how in Humans thr r good n bad people same way even in Jinns there r good Jinn n Bad (bad ones r called Shaytan or Satan)....they have some super powers which god has given them ..they can change thr appearance ('roop' v say in hindi),they can fly n travel to different places in just few seconds, they can become tall n short n most interesting thing is they also have family-male ,female ,kids...n good ones pray n also eat like us...n they live for more han 100yrs...thr age will be like 400,600yr etc. etc. and die..

And today i believe what these media show in TV serials is a FAKE ..a BIG LIE....that if one individual is murdered he will become a ghost and come to take revenge...no this is not true...these jinns have thr own world like how we humans have our own...

And please IL's this is what i believe...many might have thr own opinion or believes on ghosts...

    Victory,

You gave such a long detail but I still want something which justifies your belief.
