What do you call is the Golden Period (Vasantha Kaalam) in your Life so far?

For some it could be their childhood.. for some the school days, for some their teens, college days, wedding, honeymoon, motherhood, a period in their career, the news of a hike, promotion, a stay with a friend, a cricket game you watched with someone, a movie, a group hug, the evenings you spent at the coffee shop, or even a period with no name... What was it for you?

Reminisce all you want. The more specific you can get about that golden period the more interesting it gets. Try to define the period more precisely than simply blanketting it with generic 'my childhood' or 'my school days' etc.

what made it Golden.. How did you feel.. How long did it go.. and what not..

Won't it be double the joy when you give words to those evergreen memories you cherish forever?

Oh ya..Sure doubling my happiness when i think about it..Thanks a ton for starting such a memorable thread :thumbsup

    Here i go...

My golden period are my post-graduation and work period before marriage...

I did my PG in the same college but both the majors in UG and PG were contrary..so i earned lot many friends throughout the college..Since lecturers were too familiar i need not explain how life could have been :)..In my final year we had a live project to be done in a number 1 manufacturing company..me and my close friends were selected without any ease for the project..It was a fantastic experience learning things practically than reading or writing it and that too with friends cum batchmates throughout the way..

Even after completing our project we worked together in a differnt concern for 2-2.5 years and stayed together..yes we all stayed together right from our project work till our marriage..it was a studio kind of set-up on the terrace close to our office..liek tamil cinema exhibits.. So we 5 were really 5 stars :rotfl..

Oh god i'm not abel to stop it..anyways i''l stop broing you..wish to read a lot of experiences from our friends..See you all :hiya

Anytime before my marriage was golden. The specific time was when I working with a leading company. It was a golden period.

We may never know which is the golden period until evil strikes us!

    Thanks True for the thread.

Its my college days and my short trips to U.S.I used to go for a walk aroung 2:00 AM,which is a night mare for me,in chennai.

The sad truth is,golden periods never last for a long time.Thats why they are golden in nature.

True, CW. It took a while for me to realise that pattern, where I will pass a good time in life with no knowledge of how good it is and then when I look back, I will say "oh How I wish I knew those were going to be my Golden period.. Had I known I would have enjoyed it with even more acute awareness and explicit enthusiasm."

Once I realised, I made it a point to cherish my every minute.. for what I know, yrs from now, I may look back at these present days and say, "Wow.. those were my golden period". I might as well live & love the present rather let it slip by. :thumbsup

True, you bubble with new new threads :cheers

Interesting thread.....my golden period is the days I spent with my fiance. I want it back

He made those happy days for me. I am not a girl who can live independently taking matured decisions like all other girls in the current era. He taught me everything with lot of patience.

Like a dad, he held my hands tightly and allowed me to go play in the sea.
Like a mom, he made me sleep on his lap when I was in pain.
Like a friend, he fought with me on all silly issues.
As a husband, ______________________ yet to fill the blanks!

Before that, I would like to change myself in few things. I will make use of this time and when he comes back he will be happy to see me :)

I try to make a golden period out of every phase of my life and so far it seems to be working LOL Ask me in another 20 yrs or so. I think I have enjoyed every phase of my life so far so I cannot put one over the other to call it Golden period. But things might change in the future, who knows.

Well ...This question set me thinking!

No period -or even a short phase of my life is totally golden ,silver, bronze or something worse.

Life is a tricky and merry cocktail of all of them ...only their proportions differ from time to time.
