The next day in the centre ........
"Most of my collegues find me boring......I dont interact with them much as I am engrossed in my work,I wish I could bond with them"
"If you are going to spend the best part at the office,might as well build some nice conversation that will make your relationship easy support driven and fun"
Then at about 8'O clock she came out of her room.Just then Chelsea saw her and waved her hand.
"Hi Karen wanna come to the mall with me"
"You mean shopping?"
"Yeah I just need to buy a lot of things"
"Sure"
"So how do you feel ..I am asking this since you are new to the job"
"Feeling good"
"So you like your job right?"
"yeah....I like to deal with a lot of people and their problems"
"So if you dont've any solution for them.........just send them to me",laughed Chelsea.
"Sure......I'll do that"
Chelsea called a taxi,"Hudson street........okay"
They both sat inside taxi cab,they both talked a lot about eachother ,taxi arrived the destination, then they went inside the mall.
"Chelsea ,can I ask you something?"
"Duh .......How many times I've to say....... call me Chelss"
"Okay Chelss........it is so hard to identify your age ,I am so confused at this point", laughed Karen.
"Usually to the young girls I wont lie ........so I skip this question "
"Come on , its a come phsycology.....no one like to say thier exact age...just tell some numbers near to yours",giggled Karen.
"Stop giggling.......I am forty five plus"
Karen gasped,"Whaaaat?......unbelivable you look so fine"
They both checked out some pants.
"Karen I just used to wear cool clothes and I am not quite sure when that changed"
"Still now your are doing thye best,isnt it?"
"May be ......but my dressing sense changed...probably sometimes buying clothes to show off my best features to buying clothes to hidding my worst features"
Karen laughed and said"I think you are pretty funny"
"I used to be"
""Chelsea..........I think you are just pretending to be young......younger person like me"
"What ? What do you mean?"
"I mean you are just trying to build up your personality........its already pretty enough for your age"
"Say what ?......you just lock all your advising abilities along with the counselling centre.....okay?"
"All right......"
"Hey .........check out that handsome dude,he is so perfect..........."
"No chelss ...........I am not interested"
""Hey I was just about to say he was perfect for..............me"
"What?",this time Karen couldnt able to control her laughter ,she bursted a louder one.
"Chelsea ..........he is just a kid for you"
"For who? what says like that?"
"your age says........his age must be half of your age"
"He must be just 20 or 21"
"Oh I made a mistake...his age is less than half of yours"
"Stop that and listen to me.look at his handsome look,charming eyes and glamourous smile.......let me grow some conversation with him"
Chelsea went near him....
"Hey man...whats your name?",she said and smiled at him
"Hello,Mrs Chelsea Daniel,I am George"
"You know my name?",puzzled chelsea.
"Sarah once introduced me?"
"You know my daughter?"
"yeah.......actually I am dating her"
Chelsea was shocked to hear him."Oh ........see you later bye",said Chelsea and grabbed Karens arm and went nera the escalator.
"Chelss........I couldnt believe that you flirted with your future son in law",said Karen laughed so hardly.
"Oh god ......how come I know he is dating my daughter?",groaned Chelsea.
They both went and sat on the seat.
"What you want to drink Karen?"
"Lime vodka with three olivers"
They ordered their drinks .just then Chelsea's phone rang,she picked it up and said "Excuse me", she got up and went aside.
Karen gulfed a sip and chewed a oliver and she saw a guy who molded his eyes on her and then he came and sat near her and introduced himself,"Hi I am Alex"
"Sorry I dont think so that I can be a good company for you"
Alex gulfed a sip from his beer can.
"Its Okay let me see another seat "
"Oh its okay, sit here .........it dosnt bothers me"
"But it bothers ,I dont like to be seated near a gorgeous dumb lady"
" Nice try ....but I dont like it"
"What ?......so you lont like your beauty to be praised"
Karen smiled at him and said,"Stop that"
"So......"
"So......... What?"
"Mmm your good name?"
"I am Karren"
"So you are here with......"
"I just came here with my friend"
"Oh.I am working as Developer in WTC...so where dose you work"
Just then Chelsea came there"Hey Karen......who is this?"
Alex turned back to see who his standing behind and said,"Chelss?"
"Hi Alex!......Karen he lives next to my apartment"
"So you both are neighbours"
Then after sometimes Alex left that place.
"Karen how do you know him?"
"Who knows? he himself came and talked with me"
"Dont lie to me....he must be your boyfriend"
"Nah I dont've one definitely not him"
Then they went for a long walk.Karen told about her sis and Eric to her.
"So Eric and Farah are finnally enjoying together....So when you gonna've one"
"At present I am single thats all"
"Okay then tommorow we shall meet in the centre ...good night"
"Okay ...good night"
Karen thought not disturb them, so she open the door using spare keys.Karen gasped to see the sight which was going in the living room.
"Ewwwwwww", shouted Karen,"why dont you do all these things inside the room"
"Yah a good idea...",whispered Eric and went upstairs.
"Oh dont bother ..he is kinda kidding"
"It seems like that"
"So ......how was your day ,today you are too late"
"yeah ,I went for shopping with my new friend?"
Fraah looked at her surprisingly,"Friend?...he or she?"
Karen gave a plain smile and said,"She"
Karen looked her and said,"I've brought some thing for you"
"Whats that?"
Karen opened her hand bag zip and took something outside.
"A coupon for you both"
"Gimme that ...what coupon?"
"A coupon for dinner at chezmaurice?"
"What dinner at chezmaurice?",said Farah surprisingly.
"I love you so much,you cares me a lot , hope I can do something for you too?"
"Well it dosnt matter you've did enough for me,some how"
"Did I ?"
"Who cares ? ...hug",said Karen and hugged Farah.
The next day.......
"Chelsea.... chelss ......come on pick it up ,oh chelsea ,Why you dint come today ,you were suppose to be here"
"I am totally not so well ...(cough)...this whole day ruins me"
"Oh Jeez ...how are you doing now?"
"Never mind some what better"
"Oh ,what about your appointments ? what should I say to your visitors?"
"Assure them tommorow definitely I'll be there"
"Okay bye .....take care"
That evening Karen was walking through the wallgreen street on her way to her house.suddenly she peeped inside the restaurant through the glass door.
"Is that Ray?....whom he is with",wondered Karen.She just saw him kissing that girl and hugging and once again kissing. She was unpleased to see that. She closed her eyes and banged her head against the wall and thought "Even if I asked him, he would say that she is just his business partner ,I am sure he is taking all the women as a sport"
"Karen "someone peeped into her ear,suddenly she turned and leaned back with a jerk,"Whoa its you.... you just scared me Alex"
"So ,what are you doing here?"
"Nothing Am I bothering you?"
"No curiosity drooved me here"
"Intresting", said Karen and started walking.
"So where are you going?"
"House"
"So may I come with you till your house?"
"Sure"
"Oh , it is unbelivable, you just said...sure..."
Karen stopped and said,"I said that because I am standing infront of my house"
"Oh my badness"
"What?"
"I mean my goodness "
"So bye"
"So bye?.. You are not going to invite me to your house...."
"Why should I ?I dont even know you much, okay so good night"
"Nighty night",said Alex and saw her till she went inside.
"Oh Karen we've been waiting for you",said Chelsea.
Karen puzzled,"Hmm ..why?"
"Dont you remember? Dinner at chezmaurice"
"Oh Farah you look so great .......great earrings ......great out fit"
"Eric presented me this"
Eric came down .Farah adjusted his tie properly.
"Hi Eric you look so good",said Karen.Eric smiled at her.
"You both are made for each other"
Karen hugged Farah and wished her,"Have a nice time"
Some days later.......
"Good morning Karen"
"Good morning ...Where is Farah?"
"She is in the basement?"
"Basement? what she is doing there?"
"She needs something like ........hmm...antics?"
"Antics?"
Then Karen went to basement....
"Farah ... why you are making yourself so mess?"
"Help me over these stuff"
Karen gave her a hand.
"I am gonna decorate the house with these things"
"For what?why you gonna decorate? and when you gonna decorate?"
"Me and Eric had decided about getting together"
"Wow ,that so nice to hear,you are so lucky to get a man like eric ",said Karen with a fake smile.
Farah went to the living room..
"Honey you like this to be placed here or there"
"Farah its just a flowervase you can even place it over his head , who cares about that?", she said politely with a characteristic of harshness.
"Would you please shut up your mouth?", said Farah and went inside the kitchen.
"Come Honey Karen is just kidding .......isnt it Karen?" ,said Eric and smiled at her .
Karen went closer Eric him and bent her head closer to his ear and said"You lied to Farah"
He dint reply anything and went upstairs abruptly.
In the centre.......
"I am sure ...........I saw him in cafe with a guy who had a horse face"
"A guy with a horse face?"
"Yep, so strange to hear, inst it?"
"Yep",blinked Chelsea
"But watch this pa rt carefully, he said he went to bank on that evening"
"Seems ..he is hidding something ?"
"Yeah Of course he is hidding something"
"Whats the big deal,its just a small thing , who is gonna care for these small things"
"But I am sure no one would lie on this small one unless it is a big one"
"I am sure that you are confusing me totally",said Chelsea and blinked once again.
That night........
"What do you want Karen fried or scrambled?"
"Anything"
"Where is Eric?........ Eric......Eric.........Eric",shouted Farah.
"Where is he?please can you go and call him"
Karen looked at Farah,"You want me to call him ? sorry......"
"Karen look ...... I gotta do a lot of things right here okay,please"
"Pchhh ......Okay". Karen went upstairs.Just then Eric was talking to somebody in the phone."I'll call you later..bye",said Eric and hang off the reciever abrubtly.
"Whom you ere talking to",questioned Karen.
"No one"
"But I saw you keeping the reciever down suddenly on seeing me "
"Who me? nah............I was just doing a thing ?"
"A thing?"
"Yeah ....a very big thing"
"I know ...you are hidding something"
"Who? me"
"Yep . you"
"Never mind , the matter you were here is?"
"Break fast is ready",said Karen and she stared at him.
At the centre..........
"He as been staying my house for more than two weeks, now soon he is gonna marry Farah"
"So .....what you want to do?"
"I dont want them to be in my house"
"Then kick him out"
"Looking forward to do that"
That evening.........
"Hi Karen .......have this",said eric with a smile.
"What is it?",asked Karen plainly.
"It is my present"
"A pair of fancy sandles?"
"I hope you love it",said Eric and hugged her and kissed on cheek.Karen suddenly wiped her cheek with her hand."I am sure you are giving this to canvase me.......... anyway why you are wasting your money on this........"
"What?"
"You can better spend it on a useful way"
"Useful way?"
"Yah for any good use like .......... buying tickets"
"Buying tickets?''
"To anywhere",murmered Karen.
Just then Farah entered,"Whats that Karen?"
"Oh honey .....I presented it to Karren.... hope she love it"
"Yeah I loved it very much",groaned Karen.
