    Hello Everybody!

I am glad & proud to be a part of this community.

This is Pink Rose from Arizona Got married 4 months ago, In arizona, USA since past 2 months. Going through hell being on H4. Mother In law stays togather since day1, all days of the week/ months. All the time keeps yelling, taunting. Doesnot let me do anything. I am Not allowed to enter kitchen, I have to cook for myself though ( she only cooks for her son & herself). My husband tried exlaining things to her few times, & there is goes with her favorite emmotional black mailing,,,,,,husband's elder brother stays 5 miles from here, not ready to take the mother even for 1 day as his wife cant adjust with her " he claims.

I am stuck badly, husband supports me ,,,However he has to earn so I am with the mother almost 10 hrs a day ( More than withh my husband). It s so much of tourcher that I have started going through depression,,,,,,I have been working for almost 7 years in india before marrige . have done B. Sc from India. I am not sure I can do masters here as its a 15 years studies that I have done & not 16 years.

Well, this is not a complain but just trying to find out some way by your suggestions As its a saying " the person facing the trouble cant think as good as the person out of it / not in the trouble"

    Love,
    PinkRose

You can change that.Try getting out of the house.Pick up a hobby or start volunteering or join classes in a community college.
If you browse through the threads you will find lots of activities that you can do.Learning how to drive is also something useful which you could start doing.
Try and set a routine preferably with something that involves you stepping out of the house for a couple of hours or so.It will not seem that unbearable if you have your focus diverted on something else other than your MIL.
