    Dear Suj,
Let me share with u few tips..
U r lucky to realise that hairfall is due to excessive body heat..many people look for external cures...
    1) always try to keep ur head/scalp coolest area of the body(pun intended)
    2) try not to remain hungry for more than 3-4 hrs at a stretch..tea?coffee r not much help but juices/fruits r gud for in between times
    3) If u feel by touch that crown is hot due to tension/sunlight etc try this...take a kerchief (male ) size..soak in tap water..squeeze .use on scalp for 15 mins..
    4) have simple cooling stuff like corriander (leaves/seeds),jeera,bottle gourd
    5) try triphala tablets/powder at night for a month & see big difference

    HI again,
Triphala choornam is fine but tablets I find more convenient...
use 1/2 tsp triphala powder diluted in 1/4 th cup water..drink more water...try at night at bedtime..1st time maybe u will curse me:tongue ...maybe wake up call at night...
very gud for contipation...if go u late to office..in the morning take 1 tsp same way...
very safe to use for long periods also..
    bye

    dear suj,
i agree with arch, and here i add what i do, have a good oil bath with til oil and apply on the crown and massage for sometime around the temples in rotation manner and apply allover and wait for some time make it a weekly bath in weekend as u get more time with your oil on head finish most house work and have bath after another hour, and dont go out in the sun, try to relax, inside.

the nature cure method they always have a wet towel in the afternoon around the waist and a small piece of cloth on the head, this is a great cooler, before you go to sleep also try the wet towel you will find it going dry in half an hour, and much cooling, apply some castroil around the navel and the eyes, good ones with fresh shelf life not the old stuff as it will burn. keep your diet bland, the spicy stuff only add more problem to the present one...let me know how u feel..sunkan

    Hi Suja
    My 2 cents..
Soak methi seeds overnight and consume 1 tsp evry morning on an empty stomach. Fool proof method to control body heat.:2thumbsup:

Please do include cucumbers in your diet frequently.

    Regards

    Hi Suja,
My hubby had this prob. esp. during this intolerable summer , it becomes worse ! I always try these simple & effective home remedies . Hope you find them beneficial too.

1] Every night before going to bed, apply some castor oil on the soles of your feet -- rub vigorously a bit , then go to sleep.

2] Soak leftover rice in lot of water & a pinch of salt, overnight . Morning on empty stomach, just take this water alone [ about 2 cups at least ] -- excellent cooling effect on the body. Also can mix the leftover soaked rice with a bit of curd & have for b'fast . Done at least 3 times a week, will notice very good results.

3] There is also a vendhya kashayam I make [ sidha recipe] for giving hubby & son , when they get horrible tummy ache , around navel area , due to this heat. If interested, I will post that too -- tummy ache will vanish within 15min. !

    Regards.

    Hi Suja,

Just take 1 big tumbler [ I use the North indian lota type one] of water, add 1 Tbsp. of vendhyam [methi seeds] & boil till it reduces to half . Colour also will become yellowish, obviously. Bring to room temp. , filter to remove the boiled methi, then add 1tsp. of ' panam kalakandu' ; sometimes in Lulu we get 'palm jaggery', I add that also. Or even plain sugar is fine, to mask the bitterness. Mix in also 1tsp. of ghee and consume. Then just relax, lie down, listen to music, ... within 20 mins. max. the pain would've vanished !!
Very very effective tonic , even for little kids.
    Take care .

    Hi

This thread has made me ask a few questions. My hands feet in fact whole body is always hot... I hardly go out in sun and mostly stay in AC and still my hands and whole body is extremely hot... which i realised recently when my hubby told me... he thot it was fever but I dint have fever also...

I too have hairfall... does it mean that I have excessive body heat and that is the reason behind it..

    ~Abha
