Dear Chitra maam, Sorry for the little hijack here.Since this thread will contain almost all the senior citizens in a place , I wanted to post my qn here.

Dear Senior Ilites, Why are you not participating in the relationship forum?I think it will make sense if YOU advise the youngsters (who are in trouble)based on your experience.Why is that I do not see much senior ILites in that forum?

I would be happy if I get a reply.

You have voiced the opinion of many of us on this sub forum. I too tried to advise a little caution to the young ladies on that forum but did not get the desired results, till I became frustrated listening to all the negative chatter.

Frankly, it was so depressing and sorry to say that my own thoughts were getting corrupted. To keep it in check I almost stopped visiting that sub forum.

And bhuvnidhi, thank you for bringing this up. There must have been something that touched you too?

Yes,there is something which touched me to ask this question.

I am not trying to be a judge neither I am saying I was/am right in giving suggesstions.But there is something which is troubling me these days is the increase in the number of divorce suggestions.

And I have seen excellent blogs from all of you.For example...one blog talks about patience ,other about a complete woman,other about how to communicate...etc.., etc..They are very good lessons for everyone in general.Hence I thought it would be wise if people with high experience & maturity level can suggest better than the angry young women.

Now I know the reason why you are not participating in the forum much which is disheartening.

Its lovely to be with you all. I am honoured myself to be with all the old beautiful senior ladies over here and really appreciate your ideas for this forum.

I myself am working with 3 senior citizens in my callcentre sitting just opposite towards me in another process in my office. The more I speak to them the more I get to know about life.

The complications coming in our life and the more I learn to handle them well.

So you can say the more the experiemnce of life the more knowldge you get to learn.

 

I am neither beautiful nor a lady.
At 71 I do not consider myself old either, as I work full time and work all daylight hours in the garden.

But I can tell you one thing.
Age does not automatically imply wisdom.

I am sure you have heard the saying:
