Hi dear ILites, We are staying in our newly constructed house since one year... We have marble flooring and I am noticing that the marble is losing its shine... And also there are some stains here and there... Please help me by giving your advice on how to bring back the shine... Thanks in advance... -Devotee
dear devotee, the marble should never be swabed with phenoyl like how we do the other floorings only plain cloth in water, and once or twice a month should be washed with soap water...hope been of help..regards sunkan
Hi, U can use a floor cleaner (of amway)..i forgot the name..It contains no chemicals..but its lil bit expensive..U shud never use phenoyl which contains lime fragrance like lizol..When somethin spills on the floor(like coffeee)it shud be wiped out clean immed or else the stain wud be there forever.. Also make sure u dont use the borewell water to mop u'r floor.. :wave Ramya
Dear All, Thank you so much for your replies... I was using phenol for cleaning... But from now on will abstain from using that... Thanks again... -devotee
Hi sindhuja, U can use a mild dishwahing liquid with warm water or a disinfetant liquid like lysol. But check wther the soln is suitable for granite tops..Use a very soft cloth for wiping the surface..Use coasters for placing vessels which contain hot liquids or else the granite will lose its shine easily.. Cheers Ramya
hi there for granite tops you can use multipurpose cleaner from Amway(LOC) , and to clean your kitchen blinds or electric chimneys you can use zoom which acts like a grease cutter and wipes off all the dirt even grease for details of the products and to avail these products upto 25% off on mrp do PM me
why go for expensive products 1 Mix baking soda with liquid soap (1TSP) and rub on granite 2 Hydrogen peroxide- available in medical shop+baling soda-1TSP and rub shiny-germ free
