dear pushpa, adu anda kalam, aangalum bhavyamai irundanar, ippodu inda kaalam angaley adai thedi alaigindranar, like how we enjoyed padmini, saroja devi and so many others and kept looking when the hero will put his hand over their shoulder, will they touch at all, they should if they love yendrellam karpanai, when they held her hand there was satisfaction but now u dont want to watch any movie so it is so nice to see them at home just fast forward, and enjoy, sk
Dear Pushpavalli Srinivasan, Your poem is very touching. It is true that we have forgotten Gandhiji and the values for which he stood. In a country which although boasts of fast developing still there are large number of people below the poverty line without proper cloths, food and shelter. Conducting fashion parades where people show off their bodies rather than the cloths they wear, is attrocious. We are not only forgetting Gandhiji, but also our cultural values which ironically is respected abroad. I know people watch F TV particularly to ogle at half dressed ladies. Such perverted people do not contribute to India's growth or glory. Regards, TDU
Dear Sundari, What you say is true. Antha kalaththil T.E.Varadan, a brahmin youngster acted in a few films. I could remember only two films Kannika and Pavazakodi. His relative was our neighbour and she told my mother, " Did you see those pictures? Did you notice that without touching the heroine he had acted through out the picture?" Nowadays I do not go to theater to see movies and do not bring CDs also to see at home. Love, Pushpavalli
Dear TDU, Glad to know that you liked my poem. In fact I wanted to request you to post it in Tamil. The communists say the rich people are only growing richer and richer and the poorest of poor are not getting any benefit out of the Govt.s' plan. That is quite true. Before Independence foreigners were looting the country, and after Independence the politicians and some of the government employees are looting the people. If Gandhiji is alive, I wonder whether any one will give respect to him or ask for his advice. Love, Pushpavalli
