    badly miss u all and my il..... Got so busy with school and home no tim to scrap... But sticking to my diet except on 1 birthday party....start doing exercise 2oo in d evening whnev i get tim.....

    Mondays excercise and diet

    35mns Elliptical Trainer, 20mins threadmill, 10 mins rowing, work out on abs machine, squats with weights, Weights, Stretches, Lat pull and did 20 surya namaskars

    No excercise yesterday, I got my periods, Very bad stomach ache, did not got to office as well, rested the whole day. Will not be going to gym this week...

    Yes u r right.. :) As my stomach was full... i didnt have dinner:crazy.. Also alpa, am having fluid retension in my body. My legs are swelling all the times. When i return back to home after my work, i cant even sit in rest room since it s too hard to bend by legs.. am sufffering due to this for the past two three - years
    am not taking too much of salt also Please suggest me to get rid of this.I went thru the thread
    ( Are you FAT...?..it could be.....WATER RETENTION ) and i post a reply there.. share your suggestions too...

    Hi Alpa,

    I just want you to plan a diet chart for me. I don't know from where to cut my diet. Please note I am a working lady(office timings 10a.m.-6p.m.)

    my routine diet is as below:-

    7.00 a.m a cup of tea with sugar

    9.00 a.m. 2 paranthas(filled) with butter

    11.00 a.m. tea with little sugar

    1.15 p.m. 2 roti with one sabzi or dal

    4.00 p.m. tea with sugar and somestimes 2-3 biscuits but not daily

    b/w 8.30 & 9.00 p.m. 2 chapati with dal

    daily i take 7-8 glasses of water but i eat fruit & salad very rarely.

    please suggest a good diet plan so that i can follow in my office also.

    as if I see other's diet routine, i feel that i eat much less, but then why i am not reducing.

    i am 5' 1" & my weight is around 70 kgs. this is stable from last 4 1/2 years i.e. after my daughter's birth. I agree i don't do excercise as i don't have time & i also suffered from heel spur problem, as a result i have svere pain in my heels & back. from last week i am also feeling a little pain or u can say stiffyness in my knees as mine is a sitting job.

    My dear Chitra,
    i suggest that you talk to your doctor and also see a clinical nutritionist who can guidou as well, you need to clear with both of them that you are suffering from water retention, what i suggest you do is reduce your water intake completely, since you are in a sitting job i suggest that you take breaks in between and stretch your legs, include some exercises it will really help you, chitra i suggest you join the gym start doingwork outs apart from the epillictal trainier talk to a trainer and ask him make a work out for you once you start exercising you will sweat and this will start to reduce your water retention, also reduce all whites and sugar from your diet also google i have googled a site for you please go through it, reduce your salt intake as well, but exercising will help you and stretch your legs as much as possible.     But go to the doctor and see what he rules out as water retention is related to a lot of things and let us know how its goes.
    DO you urinate often? sorry its a stupid question but if one is retaining water in the body they hardly urinate. hope this helps you, be calm and go to the doc and have all the tests done

    diet for 03/30/10

    Morning: cinnamon tea
    BF: 1 toast with 1 tsp peanut butter and 1 egg and 1 black coffee and 1 orange

    Lunch : salad and 1/2 cup rice with boiled vegetables with 2pieces of chicken

    Snack : 1 apple and 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup skim milk
    Dinner : chicken and veg soup with 1 tbsp oats and cinnamon tea

    water : 3 litres
    exercise: 30 min walk/jog and 10 min weight training
