    hey shwethag

even i have the same issue...i think grandmoms are just experts in handling crying babies...so tell myself not to be jealous but to secretly learn her ways...further,the baby smells milk(comfort) as soon as it comes near moms...so it just wants to bf and do nothing else...andif denied starts crying...

so cool down..it is nothingto do with u...i am sure u r a great mom!:thumbsup

Paddu sorry for not replying earlier as soon as I would sit to write P would wake up.
I agree I can take rest now but I am worried what to do when my mom leaves :hide:. I want to learn from now it self. My problem is I cannot see him cry like that I feel helpless.

Anitha I have tried talking to him but he does not listen when he is screaming his lungs out. And I don't use pacifier I did want him to get used to it.

    Yours parents left already.
P's doc had told us once the baby's digestive system develops they pee and poop less. some kids poop once in 4 days.

Aba I think the same is happening to me as soon as my son comes near me he smells milk he starts moving his lips and if I don't feed him he starts crying more. I hope this will change soon.

    All mommies,
our LOs are a month old now..cant believe it...am hoping for better days as months roll by..
as of now,Kriti hardly has any pattern...today was a day when I was feeding her all the time...think it is a growth spurt...but itz sooo tiring :-(...esp with a toddler around..thankfully he cooperated well today..else i wud have gone mad...
Btw she spits soooooo much...it is becoming so hard to burp her :spin
Doc says it is fine as she is gaining weight...my regret is she'll be gaining better if she doesnt spit so much....and talk abt laundry ..ugh...

Welcome Aba...too bad we missed u earlier...

Shwetha, have u found a way to calm Pranav? even I dont want to use pacifier as am afraid they'll get used to it...but when she uses my breast as pacifier, I cant help thinking...but have avoided till now...

Anitha, looks like u are busy in Infants section...Dont worry abt stools...after 2 mos, the pattern is likely to change...y did u start giving formula? Dint u store enough BM for future use?

    hi to all mommies,:hiya

how are you all doing with your LO's..me caught up some time between LO's nap with no sooo better news ...My DS is down with fever..he got his DPT, HBV OPV vacinnation yesterday and thats the reason for this fever...poor thing..

:eek:mg:Yesterday was a terror..first got his check up done..all seemed superb..has gained more than 2 kgs since birth :) was extremely happy with the progress...then came the real scene...nurse got ready his injections..there were 3 vacinnations..2 injections and one oral dose..Oral dose was given first..

LO was made was lie down and then.....not on the arms, not on the buttocks, but on the thighs of the poor boy..ufff...:crazy:shock:DH was asked to hold his legs firmly and nurse poked him one after the another on both the legs..:-:)eek:redface:i couldnt see the sight and hence turned by back, also closed my ears...:hide:

LO screamed his lungs out...DH could also not see the sight and closed his eyes while our baby was being poked..all this drama ended and finally with lots of efforts he was calmed down..he was cranky throughout night and today morning he developed fever..have given him paracetamol drops and he is sleeping now..this terror to be repeated 2 times again once at the end of 4th month and next at the end of 6th month..

so those were my LO's updates..any other mommies done with vacinnations of their babies..how were your experiences??

    take care n happy parenting..

welcome back..all going fine..as mentioned just the fever part with my son..

all are busy managing with the LO's i guess..my inlaws still here..will return on 16 march and then me and my baby alone..will be tough to handle but karna toh padega..

even my baby passes stools sometimes once in 2 days..thats normal..we have discussed this is anitha's thread on the same issue..no exercises, dieting nothing to reduce weight..infact eating more to produce more milk for the baby..no ways am i allowed to diet..let see later on...me too look like a baby elephant..he he...lots of tough job to do to get back to shape...

    all the best...:thumbsup
