take equal quantity of sugar and water. add lemon juice to it. still well in low flame until you get the sticky consistency. Hot wax is ready...
Adding to what Dolly said: you make this mixture to a medium ball stage (not soupy not hard....2 string?) and that mass you can keep in a plastic in the fridge. Take off a small piece in the fingers and warm it on a candle flame until its pliable and then use. You can reuse in this manner multiple times. Very cheap and easy.
Thanks dollysonpari and tashidelek2002 But tell me the quantity of lemon juice also, and when is it to be added. Love Vrinda
Hi Vrinda, In this video of making 'Chikki' , Vahchef also shows the recipe of making the wax you've asked for. Indian Cooking Video, Indian Food Videos, Cooking Dvds, Video Recipes, Vah Chef. After the chikki is done, he shows the method using the sugar syrup, in the latter half of the video. Hope you find this useful.
Hey Grace3, thanks much for this wonderful link, its very very helpful. actually i did make wax myself a couple of days ago which turned out a "hard ball":bonk.
