Dear Radhi,

I wanted to write a factual write up. But having written emotional pieces all my life I could not stop my fingers from dancing on the key-board to produce this rather highly emotional account of what happened. But remember Radhi I have not shared this with anybody else in the family except of course my DW, Indhu.
In fact when I write a blog or story I had to go back and forth many times. But this time as I was writing from the heart and writing only those things that touched my heart it was like a point to point travel from beginning to end.
The girl's father is in a pecuilar position. After the marriage he is happy, relieved, tense, sad, apprehensive, uncertain, sure, jumps in joy, cries in priave.. you may add a hundred more contradictory states of mind, and yet you could not describe the father's mind.

Who knows I may be writing more on this experience or would make it part
of some story or serial.

Thanks for the compliments you paid to my wife. If I tell her about this she might skip eating for a few days.

You are right, varloo. The bottom-line is the happiness on the face of the girl, and the boy too. If that's not there even if the wedding was to be celebrated in a golden palace it would be a pointless ritual.
You know Varloo this is the point I have been crying hoarse in all my blogs. While worshipping God this love, this happiness, these tears are important. If that is not there even if we do penance standing on the sharp tip of a needle it would be a pointless ritual.
I am happy to know that you were present in heart and spirit on the wedding day and blessed the couple.

That million dollar smile on my DDs face was the goal and object of all these efforts, understanding and compromises. It was my pleasure to take you through the wedding with those snaps.

The presence of ILites added a charm to the marriage. Ladies who are not related to me or Indhu, but tied more tightly by the ropes of love and friendship, attendng the wedding.. well if that's not a highlight what else is?
