5 ways to make peanut chutney

    Hello to all

Thanks for following my previous thread ' 5 ways to make tomato chutney'.

Before I proceed further I would suggest the ladies to add carrot every time you make the tomato chutney. I requires just one or two extra chillies, but is more nutritious and doubles the quantity.

Now the recipe for the peanut chutney.

Note: always adjust the ingredients according to your personal taste.

    Method 1

    fried peanuts 1 cup
    Fried chana/punalu/phula chana 1tsp
    jeera 1/2 tsp
    garlic 2 pods
    green chilly 4 or 5
    for the seasoning
    jeera, curry leaves, mustard seeds

Grind together peanuts, chana, jeera, garlic, green chilly along with sufficient water.

Grind together peanuts, fried chana, green chillies, curd with or without adding water. If the curd is sufficient no need to add water, but needs one extra chilly.

    Serve with idly, dosa etc..

    Method 3

    fried peanuts 1 cup
    green chillies 4

    tamarind 1/2 lemon size
    garlic 2 pods
    for the seasoning
    jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves.

Grind together fried peanuts, green chillies, jeera, tamarind and garlic.
Heat oil for seasoning add jeera, mustard and curry leaves and add the mixture.
Serve with idly, dosa, pesarattu etc.

    Method 4

    fried peanuts 1 cup
    fried chana 1/2 tsp
    jeera 1/2 tsp
    garlic 2 pods
    dried chilly 4 or 5
    curd 1 tsp
    for the seasoning
    jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves

Grind together peanuts, chana, jeera, garlic, red chillies and curd with sufficient water.
Heat oil for seasoning add jeera, mustard, curry leaves and add to the mixture.

    Serve with any breakfast.

    Method 5

    fried peanuts 1 cup
