    Saw this movie this weekend.

I would rate this movie 3/5. Good acting by SRK, interesting and essential subject to be ventured.

But I felt the movie was a drag. Director was just prolonging the scenes which was not required at all. Also, as logical as it started it wandered to some unbelievable places in the end, which could have been avoided.

    Spoiler Alert

SRK has Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism, though these people are very smart and intelligent, they are clueless to identify the feelings expressed by others and also not good communicators. They don't know how to be expressive. For once SRK has come out of his shell and did exactly what a director wanted, to be a character himself and not corrupt it with this SRK'ness. I appreciate karan for achieving that. Kajol is good looking and yes shes grown old, but in some scenes, she is still gorgeous. :) They both seem to have that chemistry still.... at times ;)

Movie has a mix of message and emotion. Director could have streamlined is thoughts much better to keep us entertained. Second half of the movie was mostly dramatized in my opinion. There are many great one liners and I liked the scene, where SRK donates money to a church organization campaigning for hungry relief for people in Africa. SRK wasn't allowed to attend this event as he was not a christian. He could have simply walked away, but he would still donate the money and say "My donation, this if for those who are not Christians in Africa.". Also the famous tagline - My name is khan(replace is to whatever name u want here) and I am not a terrorist is going to be a keeper for sure.

The subject about racial profiling is something that needs to be addressed and a movie about it is always good. Spreads the awareness about the issue in hand. Yes, nowadays chanting Allah in public is quite scary to non-muslims. It immediately puts the believer in question. But again, in my opinion I wonder why this: Yes not all muslims are terrorists, but why is that all terrorists are muslims?

Nice try and worth watching it once :)

I just loved this movie :thumbsup
Of course my opinions would be very biased as I am a huge fan of SRK and kajol. Seeing both of them on screen was great.
I liked Rizwan's character very much and SRK really put his heart and soul into this character. Kajol is simply superb.

One thing that really surprised me was how Karan Johar steered away from duets and extravagant dances.. Thank god there were no unnecessary "dream songs" and dances else they would have totally spoilt the movie.

Two scenes that I really moved me are - 1) the one Nandhu mentioned where SRK donates money for all non-christians and 2) SPOILER ALERT - when Kajol cries her heart out on watching her son's dead body and her subsequent outburst against SRK in the football field.

    SRK - You rock :cheers
