    Hi all,
Where do you get good ladies foot wear (Sandals etc). I know Metro has some good ones sometimes but they are lil bit expensive. So Please give me some good shop names and their landmarks.

    thanks

    Hi,

As you said..the quality in SS is not that great..

Mochi in P.bazaar is a good option..but it is bit expensive

Kadhims too have sleek collections, but the stocks are seasonal

Pondy Bazaar platform shops have an amazing collection, meaning for the price of one at Mochi, Metro you can get two or three here, variety we love it, right?? Fountain plaza has footwear for as little as Rs. 100! Saravana Stores is good if you are not using them too often , Hey how about checking out Durable??

    Hi Pebble

If it is in Chennai, please check at Bata (Of course) and Wassons (Opp. Casino Cinema) in Mount Road (Near Godrej showroom). Wassons used to have very good collections and I have bought from them when I was in chennai before my wedding.

But not sure, if the shop still exist there........ but if it is, they have very good and new choices. The price is comparatively higher.

    Shanti

    Hi,

I am new to this forum. Just from my experience of hunting for foot wear. My toe and the next finger are widely gap'd and hence I need to choose slippers carefully. Mostly they will tear in a week's time for the pressure I put on them. Due to this I researched exclusively with Slipper collections.

    1. durable chrome factory: Slipper's are costly. but worth a try. They are professional and last long without a stitch. If they worn out, then a overall stitch would give that slipper a life of 6 more months.
    2. Saravana stores: an excellent hunting place. It is true that SS is huge and most of the items are not qualified. But u have to spend a little extra time to find the qualified items. People there do not realize the importance of a item. Brands like MariaSoft are all good brands available at 250-300 at Saravana. I have been wearing that for 6 months and the slipper is still new.
    3. My frnd used to say about a shop in Besant nagar. It is a platform shop outside the "heel" showroom. A Muslim owns it (just an id). She said he has a huge collection.

I have tried slippers in Pondy Bazar platform shops and they have some good collection. You can search slippers in all the shops there and you will definitely find out which suits you :) It is very cheap and you can bargain to get a cheaper price.

    Hi All,
If you are opting for variety and cheap u can opt for pondy bazaar shops and any road side shops but it doesnt worth for long use.
For durability is there anyother shop/brands other than BATA,kahadims, durable chrome factory.
as this shop doesnt have any new collections often.when i used to go there they most often having the same models even for 3 or more years..;-(
