My mom is going through 'Ezharai Aandu' Sani. She belongs to Simha raasi and I read that Janma Shani for Simha raasi is way worse than how it affects the other Raasis. Is that true? But whatever has happened I'm more inclined to believe the above statement. Does anyone know any sloka/parikaaram for Shani?

Dunno if you have found any solution or pariharam.. just my 2 cents 1.Sundara kandam parayanam.. no hard fast rules. after daily cleansing, read dhyna slokam and atleast one chapter.... amazing change . if possible Vishnu sahasranamam 2. Ellu deepam or til deepam on saturdays.. Above all believe that Shani bhagwan is clearing our debt for our good and bad.
Dear smart_soul, We have seen it happening to our son. He is Kataka Rasi, Punarpoosam 4th padam. Just got out of 7 1/2 Sani. We did not believe it till it happened to us. It is very, very difficult. But with prayer and God's grace she will come out of it and believe me towards the end of it the blessings that Sani showers upon those affected is unimaginable. I did a lot of things including the following which I contine to do.Vishnu sahasranamam,Sundara Kandam parayanam, Hanuman Chalissa , Tuesdays at Durga temple, Fasting on Sankatahara Chaturthi and Saturdays Hanuman temple with lighting lamp for Sani Bhagwan. Also used to give in the temple black til seeds, til oil for lamp. Feed the beggars near the temple on Saturdays. Our son had reached rock bottom. The lowest anyone can imagine. Now the name and respect he has earned for himself is unbelievable. We are proud to be his parents. Love, Amma15

I am writing this on a SAturday.. Visit a Sastha Temple (where both sexes can pray; certain Saastha temples allow only men) Recite Shani,Sastha and Hanuman Gayatri 11 times daily atleast. Practise Sri Ramajayam atleast 108 times daily...Above all Believe in divine Providence.
Hello forum members, Please help. I am undergoing 7.5 shani period. My father gave me Shani Gayathri to recite everyday (he got it from astrologer). I wanted to know the meaning and searched in internet but unsuccessful.
