Reg : Water kept as part of Naivaidhyam

Dear All,

For daily prayer , I used to keep a glass of water along with fruit/sweet before God in pooja room.
I noticed some ants are floating and some died in the water in the evening.
Then my friend suggested you don't keep water then or close the tumbler.
Yesterday I closed the glass with a small transparent plastic lid and left.
In the evening again i saw some ants died in it.
Already I have lot of problems and doing Pooja to get rid of all my mental and family problems.
When seeing this i feel i'm earning more sin only,so today i just kept fruits and have not kept any water before God in pooja room.
I'm worried about this. Please suggest me or guide me in this.

Hi Shakambari,

I checked that , the ants are not coming from the flowers used.
It's not like....I'm that much pure and have not killed even a single ant,
my concern is I feel bad to see them dead in the Naivaidhyam :-(
