How often do you communicate with your Parents???

I call once in a week and talk about half an hour to 1 hour to my parents, if there a matter to know or to convey I will call in the middle of the week.

Same as Sujatha.Once a week,regularly and I talk for almost an hour.Sometimes,once or twice in the middle of the week if there is something to convey.

 

I call them almost daily (during weekdays) and over weekends either saturday or sunday. Though I dont speak for more than 3-4 min and it always we are fine.. how are you. But I should listen to her voice at least once a day and I always prefer to end my call with her even if I have been speaking to my dad :biglaugh

 

My mom and I speak very often.. my dad gets jealous! :biglaugh Even if I talk to him, I ask him to handover the phone to my mom and usually not the other way around for some reason. I feel the message gets conveyed to him anyway.

 

It is the same case here. When my dad picks up the phone I ask him how are you and then become silent. He gets the message and passes the phone to my mom:biglaugh

 

I talk to them on alternate days. While dad talks to the point, as all women, amma gives me all updates.

 

I talk to my mom everyday atleast twice. Nothing really.. just call her and say I am leaving for office and call her and say I have reached my office. Daily enquiries like whether I had my breakfast, tablets etc., she does the same when she leaves...

During weekends I call her as soon as I get up which is pretty late. She will be waiting for my call and will hit the bed after my call.

 

I used to call them once a week but as of lately, since couple of months...I am calling them up every single day in the morning for about 15 minutes or so.

I call my mom every saturday and talk for an hour. I email her daily after I reach office and tell the little things ..
Since if I talk daily dh is moody acts out.. so avoid calls in the weekdays and focus on Dh and Ds and keep India calls to weekends strictly.
