Decorated plates for giving away with "vethalai paaku"

    Hi IL's,

    These are plastic party plates decorated by my mom for giving away with Vethalai Paaku for guests during Navrathri last year. It is done with a mix of glitter powders, glass paints and small sequins.

    I am trying to get my mom to read the FB's herself :idea, so you can post your FB's directly to her on this thread. Her name is Mrs. Prema.

    wow....wow ....what a lovely work by your mom. Mrs.Prema, that is definetly good talent there. I am going to save these pics to get some of my 11-13 yr old students so that they can do for the festivals :) Thanks for sharing them. And Oh, I loved the white ones the best, very beautiful.

    Thanks Shuba, ya this bang is with my mom's works heheheeeeeeeee :rotfl

    Hey the gold plates are no big secret, she picked them up as they are i.e. they are gold colored plastic plates used for birthday parties, you get that kind even at Party Shops in Dubai, I saw them at Daiso too about 4 months back :)

    But use only plastic plates, I tried on foam plates but the paints do not stick well on them, they stick well only on plastic plates.
