Hi I would like to know how many fellow ILites watched the spectacular annular solar eclipse yesterday. A rare oppurtunity which was a once-in-a-millennium celestial alignment. We all are very lucky to have it in our lifetime!!! In an annular solar eclipse, the moon, because of its greater distance from the earth, did not mask the sun completely as in total solar eclipse. Since the moon's apparent size was smaller the sun appeared as a ring - annular. Please take part in this poll & vote whether you had a chance to watch it live on sky. Thank you. chitra

Hi, It was truly a superb experience and that too for such a long time. I saw it from terrace with glass and enjoyed the full ring which was screed on various television channel. Truly a splendid experience. Shanta
Hi Chitra I got the opportunity only yesterday (in my life span of 35 years) to watch the solar eclipse. I watched it with the help of x-ray film & it was really wornderful watching.
Hi I too watched it with the help of x-ray film , it was wonderful and tried to watch for a second without x-ray, OMG, i cant see anything for 30 minutes after that
I watched the whole thing step by step , looking at the bucket of water, kept in the terrace. Oh!!! what a wonderful experience. Enjoyed every moment. with love pad
unfortunately NO i am preg 14 wks so i was told to sit in a dark room till this finishes but watched on Tv
HI, I too watched the eclipse using X-ray film & in a large bowl{thambalam} of water. It was nice & gud. Also, the shawdow of the trees were really diff {like peacock feather}& super.
