Can you pls. recommend a good store in Chennai where we can get Men's shoes (formal or semi-formal shoes)

In the good old days of 1990s BATA used to be popular...but I think nowadays there is Gaitonde and other shoe stores...

But I've been out of touch, and would like to check with ya'll...

    Hi Spiderman,
There are many brands in the market now, Bata still is in the race for the best! Gaitonde and Secnd Skin are good, so is Dr. Scholls from Bata!
Check out any of the Durable outlets and also Kobbler on TTK Road, Khadim's is another store that has good stuff!
Do ask if you need more information!

    Hi

Try Metro or Mochi at T Nagar, they have a good collection.

recently we picked up semi-formals in woodlands. though expensive, were very good, appealwise and qualitywise. even casuals are a class apart. but the only drawback is the limited options you get.

Reebok showroom also has some nice casual shoes.

if you are not looking for too expensive ones, you can check out the synergy brand in bata show rooms.

    SM,

There are atleast two shoe showrooms in Anna Nagar which have a variety of shoes on display. One is Metro near Odyssey (East Roundtana) and another (dont remember the name) near Hi-Style (BlueStar stop/Saravana Bhavan).
