It is nice to see the expressions made by everyone when something is given to them or they come across something.

My granddaughter Pratima makes as if she does not like what is given to eat but later she likes it. My other granddaughter has so much to say but as she has not started talking her eyes become bright when she sees something and she will go on saying ah, ah. Sometimes we cant understand what she is trying to say. When she is very happy she giggles a lot. She laughs so much when she is happy and same way she cries also holding her breadth if something happens. Nice to watch the children's expressions in their face.

I like to see the happy face when some one gets a gift which they like the most. There are people who always keep a grin face and wonder whether they know to smile. But some people always have a smile on their face.

From some people expressions on their face only we can understand whether they are talking something good or bad.

While going from this world we are not going to take anything from here so we can make others happy by giving a smile to them when we see them.
If we keep smiling we will be always young. Noone likes to see an angry face.

    WOW!!!!
Viji Ma,expressed well your expression in a expressive way.
Kids are the university of universal expressions. We have to learn a lot from them. You have photographed your GDs expresiions well.

For me expression is the art of heart.Agathin Azhgu mugathil therium.
Face is the reading notes of innert feelings. Some people, no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty - they merely move it from their faces into their hearts,I hope.

Used to wonder why people shrink to smile when its granted all for free from above. Many are there .I truly hate people without a smile.Laughter and the smile are the sun that drives winter from the human face.
Won't say a word about whom conceal their true nature with false expression.SICK.

The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life and I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that.

God has given you one face, and you make yourself another. And finally I love smiling....[IMG]

Viji mami, this one point I always wonder every second of the day !!!

I am so used to smiling at any Tom, Dick and Harry and when they just look through you, wonder whats wrong !!! Can't you show some expression atleast ??

You rightly said about the children............their expression reveals everything good, bady, naughty, mischief, tantrum, you just have to name it and it is automatically seen in their expression. Such are the ways of god's creation.

    Dear Viji,
You have wonderfully brought out the saying that face is the index of mind in your post. You are absolutely correct.
Your thoughts, sentiments, modes and emotions produce their strong impressions on the face. The face is like an advertisement board wherein is advertised what is going on inside the mind. In face, you can hardly hide your thoughts. You may foolishly think that you have kept up your thoughts in secret. Thoughts of lust, greed, jealousy, anger, revenge, hatred, etc., at once produce their deep impressions on your face. The face is a faithful recorder and a sensitive registering apparatus to register and record all the thoughts that are running in your mind. The face is a polished mirror to indicate the nature of the mind and its contents at a particular time. Your faces are covered with the scars and wounds which are made by the vicious thoughts of hatred, anger, lust, jealousy, revenge, etc. Children have pure heart that is why their smiles are so beautiful to view. We should also have the innocence of a child so that we can wear a smile on our face always. i think I am having that ornament on my face.:)
    with love

    Nice thread Viji Mam.
Nethi A - Z la neengal romba neram irukkalai.
Yeah true that face s the index of the mind. Am very expressive but I am told by my friends to control my expressions. Am generally very bubbly, smile at people - in office too wherever I work am always the most prefered as far as work is considered. Cannot say so easily. Smile at people known, unknown cos thats how we welcome their visit to r premises. This apart - if i dont like somethng or some1's behaviour, immediately it shows on my face. And this aspect only my DD always advises me to be careful abt. Because individual perceptions and preferences differ and our expressions should not hurt anyone.
Having lots to share on this but right now will stop. Cud not resist on seeing this thread started by you. Have to see off my DD to college and continue my Gobi Parathas and remaining menu for lunch.

    Bi shall come back later.

    Viji Ma,

Children express spontaneously happiness or unhappiness.

When we grow up the spontanity is lost. Some people carry the childhood behaviour through adulthood, blessed they are.

But sometimes people do not appreciate the frank expressions. So many of us change ourself & the expressions - call it maturity.

The pity is on bad things happening around, we need to control ourself, but we tend to control in moments of joy as well. people fail to appreciate, smile, laugh when good things happen around.

This is wrong. Like you said, what are we going to take away when we leave?

Let me re-quote that has been already quoted earlier:

    "Ahaththin Azhagu Muhaththil Theriyum"

This is true with kids and many others who continue smiling as grown ups.

But for the adults who fail to smile, appreciate, the quote would be:

    "Ahaththin Azhukku Muhaththil Theriyum"

    Very nice reading through.....:)

    Dear Sudha

Yes true some people are there who have to think a lot before theysmile. I also have gone through such experience.

Children are very innocent and in their smile we forget everthing.

    love
    viji
