    Dear All,

Wish you a Happy & Prosperous New Year...

I would like to know about Noah's Ark Nursery. Do they have KG 1 and KG 2. One of my friends told me that they have KG1 and KG 2 in Noah's Ark. But, some other people are saying that their KG1 and KG 2 is not recognised. Is it so? I have checked Noah's Ark in the internet, but they have not referred about a KG 1 and KG 2 anywhere. Please let me know if somebody has any information about the same.

    Love

hi they do have kg 1&2 but as for whether its recognised, not sure.
went there to get my 31/2 year old in but was unable to meet the teachers or look around as they wont let you come in during school hours and they asked me to come in between 2 and 4.
    by then the teachers leave
i guess you can call in to find out about the recognition.

    HI starshine,

THank you and wish you the same dear....

i think KG 1 and KG 2 are not recognised in any of the schools..:my2cents:hide:..not only here also in India they follow the same procedure..they will not give TC during KG 1 and KG2 , when the child wants to discontinue the studies in that school..they will provide TC only from Grade 1..iam writing this from my own experience..let us wait and see what other Ilites says...

Thanks a lot Nandini and Suzana for the replies. Well, Nandini I am a little confused. So, what happens after KG 2. Noah's Ark doesn't have one. What if we have to change to OOEHS , ADIS or Sunrise etc? Will these schools give us an admission?

    Hi starshine,

Noah's Ark's is also a branch of Little flower private school(behind alfalah plaza)..my daughter also studying in this school-the classes are upto 5th grade..but recently they have constructed a big school in mussafa for planning to start both American curriculum and CBSE curriculum..in this new school the classes will be upto 12th grade and also they have one more Noah's nursry which is already running in mussafa..

but today i got the news from a parent that they have got the approval for both the AMerican and CBSE..next year onwards they are going to shift the school from city to mussafa that too from the 2nd grade to 5 th grad..rest of the classes will continue(ie from kg1 to grade 1) in the city itself..hope it helps you..

and i don't think its so easy to get an admission in AIDS, OOEHS, Sunrise etc..you hve to try, try, try .. BEST OF LUCK!!

Thanks for the detailed reply Nandini. I have been waiting to hear some comments about Little Flower. Everybody has good opinion about the coaching in Noah's Ark. But, hardly anyone knows about Little Flower. How is the coaching in Little Flower? I guess it must be good. That is why u have admitted there. Anyway, I would like to know how u feel.

    Hi starshine,

yes the school is OK..in early days i didn't hear any good things about this school...everyone says its a very normal villa school.. according to me the coaching is fine..they are conducting 2 terms, one in oct and another in feb, also every month they have a monthly test and open house..you can meet the concerned teachers to dicuss about ur ward and to get the results during the time of open house..so for i had no problem with this school..but, iam not satisfied with other extracurricular activities..

    Hi Nandini,

Your reply was quite helpful. One of my friends told me that Noah's Ark Nursery conducts lots of extra curricular activities. I wonder why Little Flower is lacking the same spirit. Anyway, it is nice to know that u r happy with the teaching part. I guess that is the biggest issue while choosing a school.

Well, I am in a admission mood right now. Hope u won't mind if I get back to u with more questions. Kindly, let me know if u do.

    Thanks & Regards

    Starnshine
