How to sign-up for Paypal?
1. Go to paypal.com
2. Click on "Sign-Up" at the top right of the page.
3. Click on "Start Now" under Premier Account (Personal Account and Premier Account both are free to sign-up but with Premier Account your client can pay you through Credit Card, which is preferred by most clients)
4. Complete the form and follow the instructions

How to receive money through Paypal?
1. Send the email address you used to sign-up for paypal and the amount to your client.
2. Your client can then go into paypal.com (he doesn't need a paypal account), put your email address and send you the money.

How much is Paypal commission?

Paypal charges $.30 per transaction and a 2.9% commission on the money trasferred. So, if a client pays you $20, you will receive $19.12 ($20 - $0.30 - 2.9%x$20).

How much is the withdrawal fees?
In India, you can withdraw the money electronically for free, if the amount withdrawn is more than Rs.7000. If the amount is less than Rs.7000, there is a withdrawal charge of Rs.50. If you want Paypal to send a physical cheque, then the minimum withdrawal amount is $150 and the withdrawal fees is $5.
