| Elance is a great place to find work from home jobs in several areas like Graphics Design, Administrative Support, Writing & Translation, Web & Programming etc. Buyers that need work done will come and post their projects and you can bid on them. If the project is awarded to you, you can complete it and get paid. Elance charges an initial fee for bidding on projects (which you pay regardless of whether the project is awarded to you) and also charges a certain % commission on the final invoice amount that the buyer pays you. If you are serious about working from home, Elance is a great place to start. Over-time you will figure out the ins and outs of Elance. I will also add some tips in this thread.  Re: Elance - a place to find work from home jobs Cmit asked a question in our forum about Elance asking a $10 refundable deposit after registration. Elance is a pretty reputed site and wouldn't cheat. Sometimes companies like Elance/Paypal ask for deposit to check the credibility of the individual or to keep less-serious people away. |
