Take vacations go as many places as you can , you can always make money ,you can’t always make memories..Happiness is hidden within us we have just to remove our worries

When young I always used to thing money brings happiness, living luxuriously brings happiness but now after experiencing life since 73 years I have understood that money does not bring all the happiness, living luxuriously does not bring all the happiness , living healthily and leading a simple life is the happiest life.

God has given me a healthy life, a loving family and a gem of a husband , he is simple but because of his simplicity and being economic only has given me happiness in retired life. We should not compare our life with others . If you are not happy with what you have, then keep in mind someone else is happy with a lot less than what you have . When you keep your worries inside then happiness decreases and we feel depressed but when we share our worries , it becomes less and we feel happy. Happiness comes when you believe in what you are doing, know what you are doing, and love what you are doing.

Life Is Very Strange. I used to feel that those who wear high quality dresses are the happiest but understood with experience that I am most comfortable in simple dresses. We enjoy roadside food with friends rather than sitting in a five star hotel with hi fi people.

I used to feel that though my relatives and friends who have passed Xth and are homemakers are married to a Graduate and leading a luxurious life travelling in cars, whereas though I passed Xth but was a working woman and not married to a Graduate but I think I am more happier than them.

Just sharing some quotes about happiness which I feel is so true

So true Vijima. I also think creating memories is more important than saving money. It also increases love within the family. It could be as simple as playing games together, having dinner together, etc. Love the quotes on happiness.

Very true, money can't buy happiness although Its an important part of our life.
Its one once thinking, what is there in new gadgets - tell me frankly do we use all the features of a costly phone.
People go for luxury car as status symbol, think its just a means of transportation any car is same.
Yes we buy costly dresses sarees for function as sometimes it is must.

I enjoy spending Sunday and holidays with my family and friends.

I agree with you dear @iyerviji sister. Memories can be more valuable than money. Money can come and go but occasions, experiences, opportunities come only once and cannot be had by money once missed.

Still, we all need money as the world respects and responds to money only, but not to our good memories!

I think we may like to value both- money and memories and be moderate about both.

Thanks a lot for the very valuable quotes!
