"Worry is like a rocking chair. It keeps you busy, but takes you nowhere." This is a quote that I read recently and I really love it. It is so true specially in todays world, where worry is eating into every bodys health. Work pressure, peer pressure, dead line pressure, financial commitments, are all taking their toll on us. So worry has become but a natural habit. But, like the quote says, worrying about these things is not going to really benefit us. Instead, it is going to hinder our thoughts, prevent us from making good decisions and affect our health. Instead, when we are faced with a problem (problems are a natural part of life), we should face it squarely and analyse it without worrying about it. Then, our mind works better and we are able to function effiiciently. I have also heard another good thing about this topic. If you are faced with a problem, either you can solve the problem or you cant. If you can solve the problem, then there is absolutely no reason for worry. If the problem cant be solved, then too dont worry. anyway, nothing can be done about it. This leads me to talk about things that cant be changed in life. Some things and some people cant be changed in life. If we learn to identify them and accept them as they are, then life will be much easier. Let us lead a worry free, tension free, happy life. Life is short after all.
