    Ladies,

    As you all know am soon planning to re-join. I will be working very near to office say 10min by car. Still do I require cooler bag & ice bag for BM storage purpose? Let me know..

    Adding - Am sure my office will have fridge & freezer for storage.. So is it okay to pump, store in fridge and carry in a normal bag to home? Or a cooler bag required??

    Also, am not sure if in the 1st week I will be working in NY office which will be 30min travel.. but that's for only a week or so..

    Pour in your suggestions pls..

    If you have a Medela pump, then the cooler bag etc comes with it. If you don't have one, I would still buy a cooler bag, why take chances? That way even if there is traffic or something you will still be fine.

    playtex makes one - u freeze the whole thing overnight and then it place your stuff in it to be kept cook for a couple of hours. I got mine at target.

    Amazon.com: Playtex Fridge To Go Bottle Tote - Double: Baby

    see if you can upgrade from a swing to pump in style. I've heard swings are quite noisy. plus you'll spend twice as much time pumping one breast at a time. if you don't want to purchase a new pump in style check your local craigslist ads. just get a new pumping accessory kit and the used pump in style and you'll be good to go.

    Pooja - This looks good.
    Ice pack not required for this bag?
    Has in-built ice pack too?
    Usually these bags have insulators built on it to support chillness but it wont provide any cooling effect..
    let me know..

    the ice pack thingie is built into the bag itself. so all you do is pop the entire bag into the freezer the night before. it's good to store BM for upto 12 hrs in my experience.

    Finally I got a bag with an ice pack inside.. Overnight I put ice pack in freezer and carry with me.. At work I pump & keep milk in fridge itself:thumbsup
