My dear Paulina, I will tell you certain things that happened in the past and then you decide whether Ihave been an animal lover or only a caretaker of the pet at home. When joy arrived,my daughters were in college.I used to give him his morning breakfast pau and hot milk without sugar.Afternoon I used to make chappathis for him with out salt and with very little oil.Evening dog biscuit followed by dinner,some porridge.It was not a big deal,ofcourse but never did I allow anybody else to make his food.I used to take him for walkls morning,afternoon and in the evening.Once a week treat,cooked sweet potato for him. This I did with sincerity.When Joy passed away,to the amazement of the entire family,I who could or would never cry wept bitterly.It took me a long time to come ot terms with Joy's demise. I myself am not sure,may be I was doing my duty in giving him food on time. I told my daughter to read the post,I want her to read the FBs,how many of you have blessed her and her kids,she was thrilled. love mithila kannan
