    @shravs3 I guess I dint notice. This is winter melon ( Boodakumbalakayi) not water melon.

    Ok I thought the white part of water melon . Heard tat it’s used for sambar. Is this Majjige huli by any chance !

    Oh yes! I add more soaked chana dal to make it thick and protein rich. Its a very delicious south indian recipe.
