Why wedding ring on ring finger?

In one of the Chinese literature, there is a small demonstration being showed.
*)Touch each finger tip of right hand with the corresponding finger of the left hand.
*)Roll back the middle finger combination till the last bending of this finger are touched to each other...

1)Here the thumb finger combination represents the parents of ur life. At one point of time,you will not be with them any more. You can easily open up these fingers apart.
2)The Index finger combination represents the siblings. They too wont be with you all your life time.This finger combination can be easily opened up like of thumb.
3)The last finger combination represents the children. It is same as of thumb combination where children also be separated.This finger combination can be easily opened up like of thumb and index finger
However you cannot separate the ring finger combination as it represents the spouse relationship. They are made for each other and will always be with thick and thin of the times.
