    Hi all,

    Shuklam-bharadharam Vishnum shashivarnam chaturbhujam |
Prasanna vadanam dhyayet sarva vighnopa-shantaye ||

This is the first sloka in the vishnu sahasranamam.

Whom this sloka is representing, either Lord Vishnu or Lord Ganesha?

    Please clarify me.

Have a nice day for all.

if the vishnum is the word that confuses you, here vishnum is omnipresent/present everywhere. this sloka is for ganesha/vignaharta..

And as with any sloka, you first pray to ganesha..

    Thanks for reply.

Just I got confused when I searched for meaning, some sites represent Lord Vishnu, but I heard for years that this sloka is for Lord Ganesha...
